BAFE, the independent register of quality fire safety service providers, over the last 9 months has been developing third party certification scheme criteria for the maintenance of wet and dry riser installations.
This development group was chaired by BAFE, with representatives from the industry including service providers and industry experts plus trade association IFEDA and Certification Bodies BSI, NSI and SSAIB.
The proposed BAFE SP105 scheme covers the service and maintenance of dry and wet riser installations, offering a clear way of providing evidence of competency to deliver this service.
This draft document is now ready for public comment and BAFE invite feedback on the newly developed scheme. To download the proposed SP105 draft scheme document in full please click here>>
