The Fire and Security Matters Awards 2025 brought together the best of the fire and security sectors for a night of celebration at the Coventry Building Society Arena on 5th June. Organised by Western Business Media in collaboration with Fire Safety Matters and Security Matters magazines, the event recognised outstanding individuals, teams, and innovations from across the industry — including several outstanding FIA member companies.

With more than 360 entries and a record attendance of over 800 guests, this fourth edition of the awards was hosted by comedian and actor Omid Djalili, ensuring an evening full of entertainment and recognition. FireQual served as the Headline Sponsor for the 2025 awards and will continue in that role next year.

A wide range of FIA members were celebrated on the night, picking up accolades across key categories. Their contributions highlighted the depth of talent, innovation, and professionalism within the Association’s membership.

The evening also saw a particularly proud moment for the FIA, as Ian Moore OBE, CEO of the Fire Industry Association, was honoured with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award. This award recognises his long-standing dedication and influential leadership within the fire industry. His commitment to raising standards, championing professional development, and advancing fire safety across the UK has left an enduring legacy.

In addition to Ian’s recognition, numerous FIA member companies were finalists or winners, underlining the Association’s central role in driving excellence across the sector.
