16 February 2022

The FIA and NFCC are delighted to announce we are jointly hosting an event on extreme weather.

The conference will explore the effects of climate change on our weather in the UK and the impact this has on incidents that the Fire and Rescue Services respond to. The full conference programme will be released shortly but will feature introductory sessions from NFCC Chair Mark Hardingham and Climate Change experts to set the scene and in depth sessions on areas such as wildfire and flooding along with case studies.

The event is open to anyone from the sector with an interest in this area.  Alongside the conference there will be a table top exhibition where suppliers will showcase their latest product innovations.

It takes place at the Bolton Whites Hotel at the University of Bolton stadium, Bolton BL6 6SF and is very keenly priced at £330 + VAT for full delegate attendance. Exhibitor stands are also available at £750 + VAT for FIA members and £1,150 + VAT for non-members.

The event will begin at 11.30 on 7th April with lunch and networking.  The conference sessions will begin after lunch and conclude with lunch on 8th April.  There will be plenty of time for networking in between conference sessions and a conference dinner on the evening of 7th April.  Click the book now link to view all of the pricing and attendance options.
