Britain’s Got Talent’s 2019 finalist, Kojo Anim, will be presenting his ground-breaking comedy at this year’s FIA AGM and Lunch which will be held once again at The Brewery in London on 6th November.

If you’re unfamiliar with Kojo, allow us to fill you in. Born in Ghana, Anim grew up in Hackney, East London. A diverse talent, Kojo is not just a comedian but also a filmmaker who has also worked as an actor and screenwriter as well as being the CEO of The Colour Network. He co-hosts a comedy podcast called Nothing to Declare and previously appeared as a presenter on Smooth's sister radio station Capital XTRA. He has previously performed with Chris Rock, opened for Kevin Hart at Wembley Arena in 2014 and toured with Dave Chappelle in 2015.
Most recently Kojo has announced his debut stand-up tour. Kojo Anim Presents The Taxi Tour will take in 25 towns and cities across England and Wales, launching in Birmingham on 6th February 2020 and ending at the Hackney Empire on 20th March.

The 39-year-old father of one worked for BT in customer service before embarking on his comedy career and it was Simon Cowell’s golden buzzer act on this year’s series of the ITV talent show that changed everything, securing Kojo a a place in the final.

‘With his infectious smile and superb performance, Kojo wowed the judges and audiences on Britain's Got Talent. Simon Cowell was so blown away by Kojo's first audition routine he hit his golden buzzer to send him straight into the live semi-finals, saying: 'I don't really like comedians on this show... But I love you!' That first BGT performance alone has had more than 23 million views on YouTube.

The day will consist of a morning AGM session (members only) followed by a drinks reception where members will be able to invite their guests for the rest of the afternoon’s networking, dining and entertainment.

Guests will enjoy a full 3-course meal (foodies from last year will remember how delicious it was - and we have a brand-new menu this year) plus a networking bar offering a range of drinks. Guests will also find out more about what the FIA has been up to over the past year to support its ever-growing number of members and to drive the industry to greater heights of professionalism. After the meal, Kojo takes centre stage to delight and amuse with his wit and enthusiasm.

Tickets to the event can be booked individually or for a table of 10 should you wish to bring colleagues or clients.
