How to access the online course

Once a place has been booked, the FIA will enrol the learner(s) onto the course through our online learning platform, Cloud Assess.

Each learner will then receive an email from Cloud Assess inviting them to access their learner account. They should keep this email and follow the link provided to sign in.

When logged in, the learner dashboard will show the courses they are currently enrolled on.

To begin or continue the Fire Blanket Inspection course, learners should go to the To Do section of their dashboard. This will show the learning activities that need to be completed. Each activity should be worked through until all the required elements of the course have been completed.

The Cloud Assess account also allows learners to view their course progress and results and, where applicable, access their certificate once they have successfully completed the course.

Please note: Access to the online course is not provided immediately through the FIA website. Following a booking, each learner must wait for their Cloud Assess enrolment email before they can access and begin the course.

Designed for self-paced study, this course covers the key principles of selecting, positioning, commissioning and maintaining fire blankets manufactured to BS EN 1869, helping learners understand the requirements of the relevant Code of Practice.

Complete the course whenever it suits you, from any location, and test your knowledge with a short assessment at the end. Successful learners will receive an FIA Certificate of Completion, making it an ideal way to refresh knowledge or demonstrate continuing professional development (CPD).
