Please see the link below to a European Commission RAPEX notification on a product – namely a portable fire extinguisher that does not meet the PED nor EN 3-7. The notification came from Latvia.

The notification warns: 'In case of fire, the fire extinguisher fails to efficiently extinguish the flames and the user could therefore receive burns. The product does not comply with the requirements of Directive 97/23/EC on pressure equipment and with the relevant standard EN 3-7.'
