Kentec fire alarm control panels have been chosen by specialists GBE Fire & Security for a fire safety system that will protect a prestigious 102,000 sq ft new-build office and retail development in the heart of London’s Chancery Lane, close to Holborn’s Inns of Court and Royal Courts of Justice.
The new building, now housing the Publicis Group, one of the world’s leading communications groups, is a mix of new office and retail space with a landscaped courtyard leading from Chancery Lane. Care has been taken to create a premium development that respects listed buildings in the vicinity. The Cat A design sets very challenging targets for sustainability and will achieve significant carbon reductions compared to a more typical speculative office development.
The intelligent fire safety system, designed and installed by specialists GBE Fire & Security features Kentec’s market leading Syncro networked analogue addressable fire control panels with XP95 fire detection and audio visual warning devices, supported by Apollo high integrity open protocol.
Kentec’s flagship ‘open protocol’ Syncro series is recognized as one of the most powerful systems of its type on the market today, guaranteeing the very highest standards of performance, safety and reliability that such a unique and active venue demands.
