A team from Aico Ltd will be taking part in a 247 mile Charity Bike Ride this September to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
The charity event will see 41 people from Aico, Ei Electronics and Denmans joining forces to ride from Aico’s headquarters in Shropshire to the Ei Electronics factory in Shannon, Ireland.
All the riders will be taking on the mammoth 4 day trek from Oswestry in Shropshire, through Snowdonia, Holyhead, Dublin, Birr, ending finally on the longest 84 mile stretch to Bunratty, just outside Shannon in Ireland.
‘We are really excited to be taking on this challenge’ stated Neal Hooper, Managing Director of Aico. ‘The British Heart Foundation is a charity that we all wanted to support and a great opportunity for us to all get into shape.’
The team consists of a range of abilities including some experienced riders and others who are taking to the saddle for the first time.
The ride starts on Wednesday 13th September and ends on Saturday 16th September.
