Site Overview 

AlHazm Mall is a landmark luxury shopping and dining destination located in Doha, Qatar. 

Renowned for its opulent architecture and extensive use of marble throughout, both inside and out, the mall houses a curated selection of high-end boutiques and international restaurants, with no high street chains permitted. 

Developed over a six-year period, AlHazm was designed to offer a refined experience and was completed in time for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. 
The site stands as a symbol of sophistication and cultural pride in the heart of Doha.

Why was the project required?
The fire safety project at AlHazm Mall was essential to ensure comprehensive protection for a site of such high value, complexity, and prestige. With its entirely marble-clad interiors and luxury retail spaces, traditional fire safety solutions were not suitable due to aesthetic and structural constraints. 

The mall required a system that could deliver high performance without compromising the architectural integrity or interrupting the shopping experience. In addition, each individual boutique needed its own dedicated fire detection system, all of which had to seamlessly interface with a centralised system for full-site coordination. 

Given the scale of the project and the deadline aligned with the FIFA World Cup 2022, a reliable, high-capacity, and easily installed solution was critical - making Eurotech’s addressable and conventional fire systems the ideal choice.
