Export Council
The FIA Export Council was formed in 2001 as a joint initiative between the Fire Industry Council (now incorporated into the FIA ) and the Department of Trade and Industry ( DTI ). It brings together UK organisations that have an interest in promoting UK fire protection products and services overseas.
Controlled by a Council of its membership it is responsible for the industry's export activity including inward and outward missions, overseas exhibitions, conferences and seminars and liaison with central Government.
