At our meeting of 29th October 1980, Spraysafe Automatic Sprinklers representative had written to BFPSA drawing attention to ‘the commercial difficulties facing his company and in his view the failure of the Association to establish a sound relationship with the Approving Authorities conducive to the furtherance of the aims of sprinkler member companies.’

This really set the cat among the pigeons in Council, ‘Council were unanimous in their view that member companies cannot simply pay their subscription and expect others to do their work'.
