Unit 6 - Advanced Commissioning

This one day course covers the essential procedures necessary in successfully commissioning a fire detection and alarm system. It is generic and as such is suited to a wide range of commissioning engineers regardless of the products that comprise the system. Delegates enrolling for Unit 6 must first have attended Unit 1 – Fire Detection Design.

Course prices £150 per delegate (FIA Members); £225 per delegate (Non Members). Prices are subject to VAT at the current rate.

  • Site "as fitted" drawings
  • Operation of ancillary equipment
  • Transmission to an alarm receiving centre
  • Documentation and hand-over to the final client and responsible person

    During the course delegates will sit short tests and those attaining an average 75% pass mark will be awarded an FIA nationally recognised certificate.
