Portable Fire Extinguisher Exam Resit (Practical Only)

This retake session is for those delegtes who have failed the BAFE Portable Fire Extinguisher Practical Exam ONLY

The exams start at about 10am following the theroy resits which start at 9am. More info will be sent closer to the date

Any bookings made that have not taken the BAFE exam with the FIA will have their booking cancelled and 50% admin fee deducted before any refund is issued.

The price to book the resit includes the BAFE exam fee for the practical exam.

BAFE Fire Extinguisher Exam - Identification of Candidates

From the 1st April 2024, all candidates (learners) taking the fire extinguisher exam (theory or practical) including resits will have to show accepted photo ID to the BAFE invigilator as part of the signing in process. This will confirm the identity of the candidate and the invigilator will mark the registration sheet to confirm they have seen it. No copies or photographs of the photo ID provided will be taken
 

Accepted forms of photo ID for the BAFE Fire Extinguisher Exam (Preferred)

International travel

• Passport issued by the UK, any of the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, a British Overseas Territory, an EEA state or a Commonwealth country (including an Irish Passport Card)

Driving and Parking

• Driving licence issued by the UK, any of the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, or an EEA state (this includes a provisional driving licence)

Proof of age

• Identity card bearing the Proof of Age Standards Scheme hologram (a PASS card)

 

Other government issued documents

• Biometric immigration document

• Ministry of Defence Form 90 (Defence Identity Card)

• National identity card issued by an EEA state

• Electoral Identity Card issued in Northern Ireland

 

Driving and Parking

• A Blue Badge

Local travel

• Older Person’s Bus Pass funded by the UK Government

• Disabled Person’s Bus Pass funded by the UK Government

• Oyster 60+ Card funded by the funded by the UK Government

• Freedom Pass

• Scottish National Entitlement Card issued for the purpose of concessionary travel (including a 60+, disabled or under 22s bus pass)

• 60 and Over Welsh Concessionary Travel Card

• Disabled Person’s Welsh Concessionary Travel Card

• Senior SmartPass issued in Northern Ireland

• Registered Blind SmartPass or Blind Person’s SmartPass issued in Northern Ireland

• War Disablement SmartPass issued in Northern Ireland

• 60+ SmartPass issued in Northern Ireland

• Half Fare SmartPass issued in Northern Ireland

Out of date photo ID

• Photo ID can still be used if it is out of date, as long as it looks like you
