Kevin Stearns joined the FIA on 5th October 2015 and has been heavily involved with ISO 9001 and other ISO Standards since 2003 and is an IRCA certified lead auditor for ISO 9001 and OHSAS18001.

With over 36 years working experience including 15 years military service, Kevin has worked in a range of companies since 1994 from IT training to the oil industry in a range of office management and administration management roles.  

Kevin’s role as the Compliance Manager involves working with FIA members and he is looking forward to getting to know and work closely with them.  His background also means that FIA will be in a position to offer ISO9001 and OHSAS18001 audits to those members who might wish to have a 2nd party audit on their management or H&S systems.

He will be spending the next few weeks getting up to speed with the fire industry requirements to ensure he can deliver the service expected by members
