Mr Vincent, our original president and long-term secretary, missed his first meeting since 1916.

Despite a meeting in 1917 when, as a young man, he was expecting to receive his military call-up papers any day soon. Don’t worry, he’s back in March and resumes his secretarial duties in September.

In ’63, following his funeral, Mrs Vincent wrote to say how much he had enjoyed carrying on the secretarial work after retirement.

On 10.9.63 FETA decided to ask a retiree if he would take the Secretarial role. (Remember Vincent was young and employed when he started in 1916).
