Press release

05 August 2014

Since 2002, some 170 Rotarians from District 1290 have provided aid overseas, with fire engines, ambulances and medical equipment sent to communities in Albania, Belarus, Croatia, Georgia, Ghana, Kosova and Macedonia. Their aim is to improve the lives of those less fortunate than ourselves and they are reliant on donations of equipment, as well as cash donations to pay for transport, insurance, fuel and much more.

The Team has completed more than 60 projects and are now looking at providing fire appliances and fire and rescue equipment in the Balkans, for which they would very much appreciate your help. Please click the PDF for some further details OPT Flyer .

If you think you may be able to assist in this vital work, please contact Tony Cash in the first instance at [email protected].

Thank you for your consideration in this and we know that the District 1290 Team and, of course, the communities that will benefit will be extremely appreciative of any assistance that you may be able to give.
