BSIA Free Apprenticeship Breakfast Briefing

Wednesday 7th December - Birmingham

The Government recently confirmed the details as to how apprenticeships will be funded as of April next year. The new funding policy will reinforce the new apprenticeship levy, which aims to increase apprenticeship opportunities and help more people gain the necessary skills to have a successful career. The changes endeavour to give more support for younger apprentices and disadvantaged people, along with more flexibility to employers.

The British Security Industry Association (BSIA) understands the affect these changes will have within the security and fire sectors. In light of this, they will be hosting a series of breakfast briefings to help employers in the security sector understand what’s changing and how their businesses can benefit from employing apprentices.

The free-to-attend briefings, which are hosted in partnership with Skills for Security, will discuss the apprenticeship levy in more detail and advise on how the BSIA and Skills for Security can help employers adapt to these changes.

The first briefing is in Birmingham on 7th December, from 8am – 10 am at The Holiday Inn, Birmingham M6 Jct 7, Chapel Lane, Great Barr, Birmingham, B43 7BG. To register for the event, please go to:
