The Fire Industry Association is proud to deliver high-quality training to thousands of professionals across the fire sector each year. Our courses are developed and regularly reviewed to ensure they remain aligned with current legislation, industry standards, regulatory policies and best practice guidance. As the regulatory landscape continues to evolve, we remain committed to maintaining training that is relevant, robust and reflects the latest requirements across the industry.

As training demand continues to grow, we have reviewed and updated sections relating to cancellations, transfers, and course amendments to provide greater clarity and help ensure the booking process runs smoothly for everyone involved.
A Quick Check Goes a Long Way
- When booking training, taking a moment to carefully review delegate details can help avoid delays later on. In particular, please ensure:
- The delegate’s full legal name is entered as it should appear on certification
- Spelling is accurate
- Email addresses are correct
- Contact details are up to date
These details form part of the delegate’s official training record and are used for course communications and certification. A quick check at the point of booking can prevent the need for corrections further down the line.
If Plans Change
We understand that schedules can shift and sometimes changes are unavoidable. If a delegate needs to transfer, swap places or update their details, letting us know as early as possible helps us manage changes smoothly and reach a fair and practical solution for everyone involved.
Our courses involve coordination with trainers, venues and awarding bodies, so advance notice helps us manage arrangements efficiently and minimise any potential additional costs.
