Extinguishing Council
The Extinguishing Council acts as the driving force within the FIA for achievement against output-based objectives pertaining to fixed fire protection systems as well as portables, hose and fittings products.
As a product-related Council, we deal with a variety of active fire suppression methods including those employing the several classes of portable extinguishers, the range of fixed gaseous systems and other specialised systems including Water Mist. Drawing on a wealth of experience and expertise among its membership, the Council plays a key role in addressing technical, commercial, marketing and external liaison issues relating to these products and systems as part of the overarching objectives of the FIA.
