Description

 

The course gives an introduction to active and passive fire safety systems, equipment and services in buildings. This is a back to basics introduction to fire, fire safety systems and the fire industry. Content will be set so that delegates with a non technical background can gain full understanding of the information being presented.

Who should attend?

Facility, project and commercial managers, sales staff, general construction personnel without a fire safety background and non-technical facilities personnel involved in operating buildings who require a basic appreciation of fire safety systems.

Aims

At the end of the course the attendee should leave with a good understanding of fire safety, the fire safety industry and the fire safety products and services that are used in the UK's buildings

Content and timings

The course commences at 9.30 and closes at 16.30.  BSRIA are offices are open from 8.30 in the morning.
