Protec Fire detection PLC is the UK's largest independent fire detection systems company. First formed in 1968 we have evolved to become a major international supplier of fire detection, VEPA and emergency lighting solutions for all applications, via our growing network of overseas distributors.

We manufacture a wide range of EN-54 approved addressable and conventional fire detection products, including both detectors and control panels. Our 6300 and 6400 digital addressable detection systems provide high quality and high performance, utilising multi-sensors, interactivity and algorithms to provide the earliest detection of fire whilst reducing unwanted alarms.

Our Cirrus-IFD air sampling system has greater detection capabilities and lower false alarm potential than any other of its kind.
We manufacture centralised and de-centralised Voice evacuation and Public Address systems (VEPA). Our VEPA systems are fully integrated with our fire detection systems and our extensive range of emergency lighting products.
