Become an FIA Member
There are three categories of Membership within the FIA:
- Full Membership
- Associate Membership
- Overseas Membership
Full Membership
Full membership is open to all companies whose main business is in the manufacturing, installation and/or servicing of fire protection equipment. Applicants have to conform to the leadership statement and abide by the Memorandum and Articles of Association. They must also have a quality management system in place such as ISO9001 or be registered for the BAFE scheme most appropriate to their line of business.
Associate Membership
Membership is open to companies or individuals who are not manufacturers, designers, installers or maintainers of fire protection systems but who may be identified as key industry stakeholders having aims commensurate with those of the FIA.
Overseas Membership
Membership is open to manufacturers, designers, installers and maintainers of fire protection systems who are based outside the UK mainland and who have no permanent UK base.
