Is there an exam at the end of the training course?
Each training unit has a series of tests, given after a section of the training is completed. If you score 75% or more you will receive an FIA certificate.

Do I need to be a member of FIA to attend the training courses?
No all our training units are open and anyone may attend. However if you are interested in becoming a member of FIA please telephone our Sales Manager on 020 3166 5002.

Do I have to attend each course in order?
No, but you must complete and pass Unit 1 - Fire Detection Design before attending the others. After that any further training you wish to attend may be done as and when required.

I have a lot of people I want to send on a course, can you come to my premises?
Yes, we are happy to run dedicated training courses. For more information please telephone our Training Co-ordinator on 020 3166 5002 for more information.

What time do your courses start and end?
As a general rule our courses start at 9am and finish around 5pm, though on occasion they might be a bit later.
We recommend delegates arrive at 8.30am for registration.

Do I have to complete Unit 1 before I can do other courses?
No, you don't have to but we strongly recommend you do as there are references back to aspects of the Unit 1 course throughout others.
