Entitled, ‘FIRE SAFETY IN BRITAIN TODAY – A SUITABLE CASE FOR TREATMENT?, the upcoming All-Party Parliamentary Fire Safety and Rescue Group Parliamentary Seminar takes place on Monday 6th February, 2012 between 09.45am – 4.00pm in the House of Lords, Westminster, London.
 
As incidences of multiple fire fatalities in Britain remain a concern and Insurers begin to consider some commercial fire risks as being almost ‘uninsurable’, is it time for a sea-change in how fire risk is approached in the UK? If so, what action should be taken to halt this unacceptable loss of life and property?
 
The next All-Party analysis on the state of the Fire Industry in the UK, we will be seeking to clarify where issues of policy or practice are helping or hindering our Fire and Rescue Services as they seek to maintain a ‘gold standard’ service in the protection of both our citizens and property.
