The quality of your fire safety policy, design and management could make a critical difference between life and death. But how do you make sure that you have taken all the necessary steps to minimize risks and improve fire safety?
The implementation of British Standards on fire safety are proven to be a valuable and important step forward in improving an organizations’ fire policy and safety measures. This event will discuss the existing Standards; including the latest update about the forthcoming revision of BS 9999 and newly published BS 6266. This conference will also describe how the implementation of these standards could improve fire safety in your organization.
An introduction to the new BS 9991 Code of Practice for fire precautions in the design, management, and use of residential buildings will provide an insight into the content and applicability of this important new Standard. There will also be a particular focus on fire risk assessment and building management – including how to ensure the competency of a risk assessor. Innovative case studies will demonstrate the importance of passive fire protection products designed to prevent serious damage and loss of life by fire.
