CFOA Autumn Conference: The Economic Cost of Fire

The Chief Fire Officers Association (CFOA) is holding its Autumn conference at the Forest of Arden Hotel in Warwickshire. Topics such as the economic and societal impact of fire, what the issues and what can be done to combat the problem will all be discussed during the course of the one-day event.

Occupied Buildings Conference

This conference and exhibition, organised by Yorkshire Chemical Focus, is the launch platform for the upated CIA Guidance on Occupied Buildings. Aimed at HSE Managers, site managers and those with responsibiity for design/management of occupied buildings on hazardous sites, this event wil explain the legal obligations on companies, explain the guidance ind etail as well as explore some case studies.

FireForum 2010 Conference
14th-15th October, Brussels
On October 14th & 15th, FireForum 2010 will be held in Brussels, in the Basilica of Koekelberg. Fireforum 2010 is a partnership between the fire industry, the fire brigade associations and the scientific world, who decided to organise the Fireforum Conference in Brussels.
Fireforum 2010 aims to debate about the latest developments in Fire Safety Management from a pragmatic approach. The design, installation and maintenance of fire protection systems and technologies and the intervention of the fire brigades will be illustrated and discussed by renowned national and international speakers.
FireForum 2010 is being organized by the FireForum Association that consists of 4 organisations: Agoria Fire Technologies, the Passive Fire Protection Association (PFPA) and the Flemish and Walloon fire brigade federation, respectively BVV and FRCSPB.
