Graham Ellicott

 

 

Graham Ellicott - Chief Executive Officer

Graham Ellicott was appointed as the first CEO of the Fire Industry Association in April 2007 when the BFPSA and FETA joined forces to form the new Association. Prior to this Graham was CEO of the Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP) and Managing Director of the Mandoval Group. Graham was educated at Bristol University where he attained a B.Sc (Hons) and latterly at Heriot-Watt University gaining an M.Sc. He is a Chartered Chemist, a Chartered Scientist and a Member of the Royal Society of Chemists”.

 


Martin Duggan

 

Martin Duggan - General Manager 

Martin Duggan joined the trade association secretariat in 2001 as Export Focal Point Manager where he established the influential Export Council. He progressed to Commercial Manager in 2005 before taking his current position as General manager with the formation of FIA. Prior to working for the trade association secretariat Martin held positions within Dennis Vehicles and Hygood.

 


David Smith

 

 

Dr David Smith - Business Support Manager

David Smith joined the trade association secretariat in 2003 as Business Development manager changing roles in 2007 with the formation of the FIA. David worked for many years within the Kidde organisation specialising in gaseous extinguishing system where his PhD in thermodynamics, attained at  Reading University, helped establish the company at the forefront of fire fighting technology.

 

 


Robert Thilthorpe

 

Robert Thilthorpe - Technical Manager

Robert Thilthorpe joined the trade association secretariat in 2002 as Assistant Technical Manager, taking over as Technical Manager in 2005. Prior to joining FIA Robert worked for BSI responsible for National, European and International Fire Committees.

 

 


Beverley Bane

 

Beverley  Bane - FIA Training Co-ordinator

Beverley Bane joined the secretariat in 2002 as Team Assistant and as the training programme grew took on the full time role of BFPSA Training Co-ordinator. Beverley is generally the first person you will encounter when telephoning FIA. Prior to this she was a marketing executive for the Royal Bank of Scotland in their Commercial Banking and Financial Markets department, having been with NatWest and Lombard Business Finance for 11 years.


Roger Wilton

 

 

Roger Wilton - Assistant Technical Manager

Roger Wilton joined FIA in January 2007 to assist in managing the technical arm of the business. Roger has held a variety of fire engineering positions from design engineer and independent consultant, to asset engineer with London Underground where he was responsible for fire safety. He is a Chartered Fire Engineer and a Fellow of the Institute of Fire Prevention Officers.

 

 


Wilf Butcher

 

 

Wilf Butcher - Export Manager

Wilf Butcher joined FIA in April 2007 as Export Manager taking on the responsibility for managing the Export Council. Wilf was a former Chairman of FIC and has been associated with the fire safety industry for many years including time spent as Sales Director of Firespray International, Chairman of ASFP and as an independent consultant worked with FIA on market research studies.
